- Florian Knapp Composer for film music
- I'm a freelance music composer based in Berlin, Germany. As of my most recent project I'm working with Ludwig & Loehn on the preproduction for two german cinema movies. I've composed the music for the feature film Taxi Stories by Doris Yeung and currently I am working on a Techno and an Electronic Pop Album which led to signing a contract with MassiveTalent. I am producing and mixing live music for dance choreographies and music theater and I recently took part in the successful play Andrea of the music theater collective Afgefackt. Afgefackt.
- Musical education
- I gained my first musical experience as a violin player in an Orchestra, in which I played for ten years. Later on I started out with electronic music at the SAE Cologne, with an Electronic Music Producer Education, next to finishing my bachelor’s degree in neuroscience. After that in 2009 I started the Basic Film Music Composer course (Diploma) at the Musicube Academy in Bonn, which led directly to the Artez conservatorium. In 2014 I finished my bachelor’s degree of music composition for film and theater at the Artez conservatorium in Arnhem.
